About Us
At Wizz Air, we fly a young fleet of new Airbus A320 family aircraft across an exciting and varied European network from fifteen operating bases in Central and Eastern Europe.
Our 400-strong pilot community is made up from 46 nationalities and makes for a dynamic multi-cultural working environment in which to learn and grow. Since the commencement of operations in September of 2003, we have grown by some 30% year-on-year and expanded sustainably to include 66 destinations and 37 aircraft in our fleet. With the continuous arrival of our new fleet, we are positioned to become the largest regional low-cost low-fare airline of choice, and are looking to recruit more flight crew as Captains, First Officers and Cadets with the future in mind.
The First Officer A320 (non type-rated) scheme is for experienced airmen of high calibre who wish to develop their flying careers with one of the most progressive and dynamic low-cost low-fare airlines in the Central and Eastern European region. For the successful First Officer, time to command can be as short as three years from date of joining.
