SCOPE
The Research Services Intern at Americans for the Arts assists the department in gathering, generating, and disseminating the tools and information needed by arts industry stakeholders to inform decision-making about the arts.
The Research Services Intern should be a responsible and detail-oriented person with the ability work both independently as well as part of a team. They should be experienced in Microsoft excel, feel comfortable handling large data sets, and possess strong analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Research Intern will assist research staff with various projects. The intern may be asked to perform any of the following tasks:

Analyzing and reporting on internal survey data

Writing abstracts, case studies, and project profiles

Developing web-based surveys for internal evaluations

Data entry and maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS

A commitment to serving the nonprofit arts field

Experience with Microsoft office products

Ability to work independently and to communicate with staff in a professional manner

Strong computer skills with proficiency in database management
