NMS Labs is an ISO accredited independent provider of clinical and forensic toxicology, endocrinology and criminalistics laboratory services for the health care and forensic sciences communities.  Since 1970, we have built a reputation as a provider of innovative, first-to-market and hard-to-find testing that has evolved to a broad menu of over 2,500 laboratory tests.

We are seeking a temporary, full-time Client Support Rep I in our Client Services department.  The regular hours for this position are Monday-Friday, from 10:30am-7pm, until December 2014.  A high school diploma, along with at least 2 years of experience in a client services environment, is required.  Experience in a reference lab, hospital, or physician's office is preferred.  This position serves as the primary internal representation between NMS and the defined client base utilizing NMS Labs services. The Client Support Rep is responsible for the retention and complete satisfaction of the client base. This position works closely with CS Supervisor, Analysts, Toxicologists and other specialist team members internally within the NMS environment in providing support to clients in resolving any service needs, problems, concerns and general inquiries received daily. Major duties and responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming/making outgoing calls to clients
  • Resolving problems, reporting cancellations, providing specimen requirements and pricing, interpreting reports for clients
  • Sending client pricing and Test Information sheets.
  • Monitoring promised cases and management reports
  • Keeping a daily log of all daily client actions
  • Contacting clients for Marketing surveys
  • Providing information and client education of all NMS services

The Client Support Rep must have excellent phone etiquette, speaking voice, and professional appearance. The ability to effectively prioritize assignments, along with strong organization, documentation, and problem solving skills is required.  The successful candidate must be able to work independently and pay close attention to detail, and must be able to manage multiple tasks at once.  The Rep must be able to effectively communicate findings and recommendations in verbal and written form to other employees, management, and clients.  Physical demands include:

  • Ability to talk, hear, stand, reach with hands and arms, and use hands and fingers to manipulate instrument/equipment controls, computer keyboard, office equipment, objects, or tools
  • Moving from one work location to another to sit and stand, sometimes for extended periods of time
  • Vision (with correction) including color, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
