Applying for a Transfer
· You may only apply for a transfer to a position that is posted.
· Complete the Internal Transfer Application on-line.
· If your qualifications match, an interview will be set up by your recruiter.
· After the HR interview, if it is determined that you meet the qualifications for the position, your recruiter will schedule you to interview with the hiring manager.
· You must be in your present position at least 6 months before you may apply for a transfer (some exceptions may apply per policy)
· Your overall level of performance must meet expectations.
· You must have no active disciplinary actions on file.
· You must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. Employee Health Services will review the job analysis and determine eligibility requirements.
· Upon completion of the interview process, your recruiter will notify you of the outcome. If you are a finalist for the position, please notify your current manager of your desire to transfer.
· The hiring manager will contact your manager to discuss your performance and suitability for the position.
· If you are selected, your recruiter will notify you and a transfer date will be determined. You will provide a 2 week notice to your current manager. Transfers/promotions occur at the beginning of a payperiod.
· If you are not selected, you will be notified by your recruiter.
