Due to our continued growth, we are seeking customer service-focused individuals to join our team.  As a Concierge Staff Assistant you will have a tremendous opportunity to learn our business operations though supporting our varied properties. You will experience the uniqueness of each property as you provide our distinguished Concierge Services to our clients and residents. Our properties are located in the Greater Boston area, Metro West, and Providence. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will assist with Concierge coverage at assigned shifts and properties. We will provide the necessary training for you to deliver our high standards of style, service, and personal attentiveness. You will be responsible for the overall satisfaction of residents and guests by offering warm and friendly assistance and anticipating their needs. As a Concierge, you will also assist with reserving theater and event tickets, securing restaurant reservations, coordinating personal errand services, arranging for travel services such as flights, taxis, or private cars, handling packages and dry cleaning, and executing daily tasks in accordance with operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Concierge Supervisors and their teams at assigned properties to provide essential coverage to assist our clients and residents.
  • Follow procedures, policies, and other important correspondence from corporate.
  • Assist Concierge Supervisors with the implementation of systems as directed.
  • Consistently provide a rewarding luxury lifestyle experience for our residents and their guests through helpful, attentive, and courteous interactions.
  • Greet all residents and guests confidently and cordially upon entering the property; announcing and registering guests and vendors/contractors.
  • Facilitate special requests to include airline reservations, ground transportation, dining reservations, spa and salon appointments, tickets to major events, accommodations, discount admissions, local area information and maps, and other convenient services.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing packages and deliveries.
  • Maintain all applicable logs, updates, files, and relevant computer and/or paper log systems relevant to building operations and maintain accurate and complete shift notes and "pass-on" logs to ensure successful communication through shift changes.
  • Follow emergency procedures as directed in the property manual.
    Addition duties, as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred.
  • Flexibility in scheduling required.
  • 2+ years experience in high-impact guest service operations including Front Desk, Concierge Desk, Night Auditor, Reception Desk, and any other "front of house" assignments within a luxury hotel, residential environment, or comparable setting.
  • Vast knowledge of local area information and culture including The Arts, Tourism, Entertainment and Sports, Dining and Shopping, and other leisure activities. Superior map skills preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully resolve issues.
  • Self-motivated and ability to multi task while remaining composed and approachable.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Professional appearance with a positive, outgoing, and attentive demeanor.
  • An awe-inspiring passion to provide assistance and enhancing the lives of others.
  • Access to reliable personal transportation preferred.
