The School of Nursing, founded in 1943 and accredited by the CCNE, offers traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate programs to over 1200 students in a supportive and creative environment. Experienced and junior faculty members are needed in clinical specialties to support the School of Nursing’s programs including RN pre-licensure, RN to BS, graduate and PhD.
Graduate programs in Nursing Administration, Emergency Nursing/Disaster Management, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education/Staff Development, and a combined MS/MBA program are offered both on and off campus.The PhD program concentration is in education with a new track in health systems management. We are searching for experienced nurse scholars/clinicians in:
·Program Director- Adult Nurse Practitioner Program-(Must be ANP Certified with priority given to those holding a doctorate)
·Psychiatry
·Qualitative research Methods (PhD prepared with an established program of research)
·Ethics or bioethics (Must have PhD)
·Health Policy and/or Health Systems
In addition to above, faculty with a sub-specialty in quality management, management/administration, education or informatics will be highly considered.
We are seeking faculty who have a record of scholarship and a commitment to students, and improving the health care system with excellence in clinical practice.Qualified candidates for tenure track will have a doctorate in nursing or related field. Clinical track candidates require a masters degree and national nurse practitioner certification. Salary and Rank are commensurate with education and experience.
