RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Prepare breakfast buffets for the dining room and banquets (if applicable)
- Put food out onto buffets
- Cook individual, menu breakfast orders
- Prepare for lunch for the dining room and banquets (if applicable)
- Review “Function Sheets” for that day in order to prepare food orders
- Arranges all food for banquets
- Organizes the food according to the Functions Sheets
- Prepares food for breaks according to function sheets
- Assists night time cooks by preparing vegetables and other foods that may be needed
- Assists with ideas for new menu items
- Follows recipes to make certain menu items
- Communicates with Dining Room staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Discuss food related guest concerns with Dining Room staff and decide on appropriate corrective action
- Cleans the line before the night crew begins work
- Sets-up the breakfast line and tears down at 11, sets-up lunch line and tears down at 2.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
