RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prepare breakfast buffets for the dining room and banquets (if applicable)
  • Put food out onto buffets
  • Cook individual, menu breakfast orders
  • Prepare for lunch for the dining room and banquets (if applicable)
  • Review “Function Sheets” for that day in order to prepare food orders
  • Arranges all food for banquets
  • Organizes the food according to the Functions Sheets
  • Prepares food for breaks according to function sheets
  • Assists night time cooks by preparing vegetables and other foods that may be needed
  • Assists with ideas for new menu items
  • Follows recipes to make certain menu items
  • Communicates with Dining Room staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Discuss food related guest concerns with Dining Room staff and decide on appropriate corrective action
  • Cleans the line before the night crew begins work
  • Sets-up the breakfast line and tears down at 11, sets-up lunch line and tears down at 2.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
