Position Overview:

 

The purpose of the Program Controller is to provide dedicated support to the Program Manager and Program Management Organization and Matrix staff through the provision of integrated schedules and reports for the effective management of the performance based contract.  The Program Controller will be responsible for keeping internet and external customers informed on contracted outputs, principally through the medium of secure site web-based information tools, schedules, charts and reports.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

§         Plan, develop and upkeep a CP140 OWSS program wide integrated schedule that supports the achievement of the CP140 OWSS program objectives in the most timely and cost effective manner.

§         Take the lead in the development and production of the weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.

§         Provide and upkeep program information on the IMP OWSS secure website.

§         Provide briefings and slide presentations as required to colleagues, customers and senior staff as required.

§         Support the development of program and logistics milestones.

§         Advise the PM on all supportability issues to the accomplishment of the program.

§         Write, or assist in writing and updating of company standard plant procedures as required.

§         Liaise with all branches and external contractors for the purpose of fulfilling the job purpose.

 

Position Requirements:

 

§         College or university level degree or equivalent experience.

§         5 years experience in related field.

§         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

§         Ability to write in a clear, concise and well organized manner applicable to the target audience.

§         Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

§         Advanced skills in Microsoft Project

§         Ability to use web-based systems and file structures to be able to host information on the developed website.

§         Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
