Location: Ft Belvoir
Senior CNO Analyst
 
Description: Works as a member of the Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT) Computer Network Operations (CNO) Staff, with specific duties as a Technical Threat Analysis.

• Provide technical and administrative support to US Army Tenants and higher Headquarters staff; during the identification, resolution, and tracking of computer security incidents or events.
• Provide long-term and near-term Computer Network Defense analysis and planning for resolving systemic and Enterprise computer events and/or intrusions across the Army’s LandWarNet.
• Prepare information briefs, white papers and presentation subjects determined by local guidance.
• Develop, research, publish, test and update CNO related SOP and Methodologies:
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Tools, Techniques and Procedures
• Perform annual reviews and publication of programs including but not limited to:
- AS&W (Attack Sensing and Warning Cells)
- F&MA (Forensic and Malware Analysis Cells)
- Incident Handling Cells (IH)
• Develop and staff for approval Memorandums of Understanding / Agreement (MOU/A), Best Business Practices, (BBPs), and Army IO regulations IAW agreements made between all parties.
• Conduct Assessments of the Army’s CND Architecture to ensure it is IAW current and emerging CND doctrine and concepts of operation provide reports with recommended changes to the Army CND Architecture.

Qualifications: Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and internetworking required. System/network administration, security, and configuration background highly desired. Operating System (OS) and/or IA certifications are beneficial. Position requires Superior Customer Service skills/leadership traits; Service/Agency/Joint Operations Center experience helpful.

Typically the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience or 9 years in lieu of educational credentials
 
Desired Certifications/Experience: CISSP, CCNA, MCP, ArcSight, Snort
Security: Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance
 
Performs other duties and special projects as needed and directed by the Manager.
