An entry level position into the U.S. Field Sales Organization. The FSA position is developmental in nature and designed to support the efforts of the full-line territory managers along with preparing the candidate for promotion to Territory Manager. Most individuals will require 24 to 36 months in this capacity before becoming a promotable candidate.
Performance Management
· Quarterly achievement of all objectives
· Assist in providing case coverage
· Assist in new product introduction
· Plan and conduct patient outreach programs
· Regularly conduct clinician and patient awareness programs to include:
· Primary Care Physicians
· Diabetic Nurse Educators
· Prostate Cancer Support Groups
Time and Territory Management
· Goals and objectives will be established quarterly in conjunction Regional Manager
· Manages time appropriately to meet established quarterly objectives
· On a weekly basis, submit a work plan which summarizes prospective call activity, clinical case load, and strategic activities critical to completion of the quarterly plan
· Adheres to all established T/E and other expense guidelines
· Manages accountability of assigned territory inventory to prescribed standards
· Maintains an accurate database on physicians and hospitals
· Effectively uses all available resources
COMMUNICATION
· Responds promptly to all requests from customers
· Responds with appropriate timeliness to all requests from management
· Professionally communicates with all members of the team
· Initiates communication with Regional Manager on a weekly basis
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
· In conjunction with Regional Manager and Training Department, builds an Individual Development Program which prepares for promotion
· Always conducts themselves in a professional manner and adheres to the guidelines established in the AMS Code of Conduct
· Develops technical and clinical competence in all assigned products and procedures
· Utilizes PSS and continues to develop proficiency
ADMINISTRATIVE
· Submits all administrative requirements in a timely and well thought out manner
· Submits expense reports within thirty days of incurring expenses
EDUCATION
· BA or BS required
EXPERIENCE
· Prior sales experience preferred
· Urological experience, surgical and physician preference sales experience, product knowledge, and exposure to marketing strongly preferred
SKILLS
· Demonstrated knowledge of effective sales concepts, principles, and tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge to utilize effective sales skills and tools to structure and maximize the outcome of sales calls.
