JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Disability Team Leader, assists with reviews of records, accessing services for Early Childhood Program’s parents and children. May assist with health and other related services when special needs children are involved
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS
Works under the direct supervision of the Disability Team Leader, works closely with the Associate Director of Program Compliance. Works collaboratively with partners and community. No supervisory responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with intra-department and inter-department staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, interpret, and present information efficiently and effectively. Must be able to accurately audit records and ensure compliance with written or oral guidelines. Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure. Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc. Knowledge of agency and component policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices, and the ability to apply such. Must be able to gain cooperation of Early Childhood Program children and families.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma/G.E.D., 1-2 years of experience working with children and clients with disabilities. Basic – Intermediate MS Office skills, intermediate database software skills. Advanced organizational skills, efficiency skills and excellent attention to detail. Position preferences: bilingual (Spanish/English), college courses in family health or special education.
OTHER
Primarily a traveling position within Tulsa County (exposure to normal traffic hazards). Work requires bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing throughout the day. Ability to lift and carry clients up to 50 pounds who require assistance with daily living needs. Regular and reliable attendance required. | |
