Hours: Regularly scheduled 32 hours a week, M-F Days

Description: As a Staff PharmacistatLinacia Outpatient Pharmacyyou will evaluate and interpret orders and dispense medications according to written orders/prescriptions issued by an authorized prescriber, identify, prevent, assess, and resolve medication-related problems to ensure a safe and optimal patient and customer outcome. Promote, through criteria based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care. This pharmacist will assist in supervising the pharmacy technicians in their daily routines.

Qualifications:
· CA licensure in good standing
· Previous experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or retail setting.
· Clean driving record and ability to lift and carry med carts (40lbs)
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy operations
· Experience and proficiency with computer systems and other pharmacy equipment

About the Hospital: Dameron Hospital is a fully accredited, 202-bed community hospital offering a broad range of medical, surgical and health maintenance services for emergency and acute care. Both not-for-profit and non-sectarian, Dameron exists solely to serve the healthcare needs of the community of Stockton. Dameron operates both inpatient and outpatient pharmacies. The outpatient pharmacy, Linacia Pharmacy, is a retail pharmacy available for anyone needing prescriptions filled. Home delivery of prescriptions is also available for an additional charge. Linacia Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:30 pm. The inpatient and outpatient pharmacies are managed by Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS). All pharmacy employees are CPS employees.
