Diving/Construction Materials Engineer

 

THE PERSON—WHAT IT TAKES: A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is required. A Masters Degree is preferred. Previous experience in underwater inspection of transportation projects (bridges), dams, and other marine structures is strongly preferred, but not required. Experience managing construction materials projects is also required. A P.E and diving certification are required,preferably from an accredited commercial diving school or equivalent military . Those candidates with advanced diving certifications may also be considered. Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and a demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports are required. You must have a valid drivers license.

ENGINEERING YOUR CAREER SUCCESS THE JOB—WHAT IT IS: As a Diving/Construction Materials Engineer with Terracon you will perform underwater structural inspections and construction materials testing services for projects, prepare reports and proposals, review and interpret technical data and manage a technician staff.
