REALTOR.com is seeking a top producing, field-based senior level sales executive to fill the Sr. Regional Account Executive position. The selected AE will be responsible for the territory growth and development. This is a top level, hands on sales position with an industry leading company.
Candidates must live in the territory-VA, WV, MD, DE, KY.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate sales by prospecting for new and servicing existing clients within an assigned territory. Must be able to develop and execute a strategic business plan to maintain and achieve revenue goals.
- Schedule sales meetings and travel to scheduled appointments throughout the assigned regional territory in order to meet the minimum sales benchmark. The majority of the sales calls and presentations should be face to face in client’s offices, or through conference call, presenting the REALTOR.com®.
- Attend and travel to national, regional and local industry events and trade shows as required. This travel will include day trips; single or multiple night stays in approved hotels and company equipment should i.e. lap tops, printed materials, trade show premiums included.
- Consult with customers and prospects to best use their REALTOR.com® online marketing solutions and must be able to learn the internal business systems effectively.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with various business units to maximize regional growth while meeting weekly reporting responsibilities.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Duties which may be performed on an as needed basis or on infrequent intervals (quarterly, semi annually, etc.)
- Provide weekly pipeline and schedule and calendar
- Developing and growing multi-platform solutions for our clients, with an emphasis on deepening relationships and expanding our business with current and new clients.
- Direct development of sales account executives and territory coverage plans in conjunction with service offerings and network development
- Direct, train and assist local sales account executives, when required, to call on all levels of management prospects as required to close business via signed contract(s).
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and assume other duties as assigned
- Maintain and increase sales volume from established accounts and collect all outstanding balances
- Meet pre-established activity results and quotas
- Address customer complaints quickly and advise management promptly of any situation outside position’s scope of authority
- Monitor competitive activity and market conditions, providing feedback and suggestions to management regarding new product addition and existing product upgrade and/or sunset.
- Maintain up-to-date customer prospect records as instructed and participate in development of quarterly sales forecasts
- Obtain monthly, quarterly, annual sales revenue objectives via new and existing clients within an assigned territory by selling and training online marketing and advertising solutions
- Consult with real estate business executives on media to include offline and the benefits of online marketing, performance tracking and ROI.

- Strong presentation skills
- Strong computer skills with MS Office suite, and knowledge of Internet Advertising terminology
- Able to multi task and set priorities

- Self starter with strong computer, presentation and follow-up skills.

- High energy with the ability to excel in a fast paced environment and adapt to changes in industry dynamics

- Good attendance is required. Must be available for extended hours, as needed.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and personal transportation

- This will require the use of company issued equipment for the purposes of conducting a professional presentation i.e. presentations on lap top, portable projector and or multiple printed materials carrying or lifting 20 lbs as well as limited bending in setting up for presentations.
Additional Qualifications and Experience
Real Estate Industry, Advertising/Media Sales and account management experience a plus
- College degree or equivalent
- 3 + years experience in an outside sales position
