A Director of Strategy and Client Services is needed for a very busy research-based consultancy, dedicated to studying physician-patient communication. MBS/Vox works with leading pharmaceutical companies to provide them with intelligence about how in-office dialogue impacts their brands. Day-to-day, the position entails working with clients to guide them through the market research process, from proposal to final presentation of results. Often, the work extends beyond studies themselves, through strategy-based consulting assignments. The individual must want to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and develop meaningful client relationships quickly. In addition to working with external clients, the individual would be a liaison with other CommonHealth companies, assisting them to leverage MBS/Vox research for their own clients. MBS/Vox is a dynamic organization with staff from a variety of backgrounds; although open to a variety of experience, this individual should have deep knowledge of pharmaceutical market research and strategic planning. Strong presentation skills are a must.
MBS/Vox is seeking a Director of Strategy and Client Services, responsible for:
- Leading the sales effort to new and existing clients
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships through delivery of superior insights
- Leading client projects, coordinating with analytic and operations teams from study development/preparation all the way through to delivery of results
- Creating and delivering reports and presentations, based on study results and interpreting data, that address clients’ strategic issues
- Translating research findings into specific, actionable strategic and tactical recommendations to grow brands
- Designing research questionnaires and moderator guides
- Overseeing fieldwork
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
- 8+ years experience managing and leading market research projects
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to deliver multiple projects under tight timelines
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Experience designing and conducting qualitative research projects
- Linguistic and/or ethnography research experience a plus
- Proven relationship building and organizational skills
- History of selling experience is required
- Experience working within a pharmaceutical company is a plus
- Minimum four (4) year degree required; Master’s Degree/MBA a plus
