Safety & Training Supervisor
We are currently seeking a Safety & Training Supervisor for the Lakewood, NJ Customer Service Center.
Safety & Training Supervisor Requirements:
- 5 + years work experience with 3 years in school transportation industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college, including education/training courses preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Innovative classroom training skills, knowledge of adult training techniques
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization, interpersonal, and group presentation skills
- Compliance with state requirements
Safety & Training Supervisor Responsibilities include:
- Select and train qualified School Bus Drivers according to state and company established guidelines
- Provide ongoing training and performance evaluations for all drivers as well as supervising the safety program of the customer service center, including monthly safety meetings and the accident review committee
- Proactively recruiting individuals to become school bus drivers
- Perform Driver Orientation in conjunction with Operations Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager
