We are currently seeking a Technical Designer to work on an aviation project in Phoenix, AZ.
responsibilities:
· Serve as Technical Design Expert for projects.
· Direct activities of design support personnel assigned to projects.
· Assist in transition of design projects to installation projects.
· Assist the Implementation Project Manager with the preparation of RFP and other procurement documents in accordance with Aviation and Finance Department practices.
· Ensure all design support activities during installation are performed to the requirements of the project. Activities include review of product submittals, design documents, testing requirements and other activities required for the assurance that installation is conducted in accordance with approved scope of work.
· Perform design support responsibilities when required.
· Participate in weekly team meetings.
· Provide input/status for monthly report.
· Support the Technology Division, as needed, as an extension of staff.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science or related field; experience managing others, experience working on aviation projects is a plus!
