We are presently seeking experienced Construction Managers and Project Managers to join us in various locations across New York State to provide construction management support to the New York Power Authority.
DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hill International will be looking for construction management support throughout New York metro area to augment the New York Power Authority’s Staff on various capital expenditure projects.
Tasks would include, but not limited to;
- Performing construction management services for projects such as mechanical boiler systems, energy management systems, electrical systems and general construction.
- Contractor’s personnel will be utilized to manage the general contarctors, hired by the NYPA.
- Support the Authority during outages and non-outage maintenance and construction activities, as well as other Authority programs/projects.
- Contractor’s personnel will interface with site and inhouse Archiects and Engineers, outside contractors and union craft labor.
Following disciplines may be required;
- Electrical
- Mechanical (piping design, etc.)
- Structural/Civil (pipe support)
- Licensing
- Environmental
- Facility e.g. HVAC, plumbing
- Fire Protection
- Estimating
- Code Compliance
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5-10 years experience.
- Prior experience with energy management systems, schools and hospitals,
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the client and end users of the NYPA services.
- Working knowledge of Primvera Expedition is a must.
- The use of project scheduling software such as P3 and Microsoft Project is a must.
- Submittals reviews and document control experience is essential.
- Four year college degree is PREFERRED
