Position Overview

Replicon is searching for experienced Quality Assurance Analysts to join our QA team and provide service to the research and development team. These teams work together to ensure the quality of the customer experience to Replicon’s standards. The successful individuals will collaborate with developers to understand feature / functionality and validate the design specs from the product management team. In addition to creating and executing test plans for assigned features, you would also be proving feedback on usability of the feature and how it fits into the product as a whole.

Responsibilities:

Design, write, and execute test plans and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance test procedures
Analyze and document test results; file defect reports and enhancement requests
Make suggestions on improving ease of use and quality of the software
Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects; to improve and enhance system functionality, reliability, performance and scalability
Verify design/requirement specifications

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in the role of Software Quality Assurance Analyst or Software Tester
Extensive experience in Performance/Stress/Load Testing would be a big asset
Knowledge of Internet technologies and Microsoft Windows platforms
Good understanding of relational databases (SQL or Oracle)
Exposure to quality assurance methodologies, white/black box testing, system/integration testing methodologies would be an asset
Exposure to testing products developed in C/C++ and/or .NET would be an asset

Competency Requirements:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented, able to concentrate, and work quickly
Proven diagnostic, analytical, and problem solving skills
