Numerical algorithms, statistical models, linear algebra, grid computing, and other advanced engineering disciplines come together in the work done by our Quantitative Developers. We're seeking world-class technologists to help build the tools and engines used by our world-class quantitative analysts and high frequency researchers.
Candidates should have: 2 or more years of professional experience in automated trading, scientific computing, algorithm development or pattern recognition; a background developing large-scale, real-time and distributed applications; experience in developing high-performance, multi-threaded applications using several different programming languages including Java and C++ and knowledge of scripting languages such as PERL, Python and UNIX shell. Each of our quant developers has at minimum a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or a hard science from a top university, and strong numerical programming skills. An advanced degree in computer science is a plus.
