| Description | |
Purpose:
•Support Garden Décor businesses in all customer logistics compliance, forecasting and supply chain functions.
•Improve our overall customer performance by increasing service levels and fill rates, reduce inventory levels including excess and obsolete inventories, ensure on time compliance, and reduce product damages.
•Coordinate all cross functional activities between Décor and Lowe’s forecasting, inventory management, and logistics areas.
Responsibilities:
•Establish and manage business processes to improve customer service levels and support customer requirements.
•Develop forecast/inventory consumption tools to manage inventory flow and anticipate future product issues/needs.
•Work with Lowes logistics to understand ordering system and seasonal strategies and how they impact the inventory plan.
•Monitor inventory pipeline, communicate potential issues to Lowe’s, and suggest stocking strategy changes to optimize inventories.
•Analyze weekly POS trends vs. forecast and history, and collaborate with Décor Supply Chain and Lowe’s Logistics teams to update forecasts and define inventory plans.
•Determine root cause of forecast consumption errors, and make forecast and inventory recommendations based on findings.
•Coordinate and facilitate weekly logistics calls and monthly collaboration meetings with Lowes Logistics and Décor Supply Chain Teams.
•Manage the Lowes/Décor business calendar of meetings and key decision dates.
•Develop carry forward, drop, and running change item inventory and execution strategies.
•Identify efficiency opportunities in the Décor supply chain.
20% travel required
Skills:
•Strong analytical abilities
•Highly skilled in Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Dart
•Excellent, pro-active communication skills
Education:
BS in Business Administration preferred
