EXTERNAL STAFF “DAVOS CLIMATE ALLIANCE”
ANNUAL MEETING IN DAVOS-KLOSTERS
The World Economic Forum is looking for 25 temporary employees to assist in the organization and running of our “Davos Climate Alliance: Towards a Greener Davos” initiative at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters in January 2010. This initiative aims to actively lower the carbon dioxide emissions that are directly generated by the over 2,500 participants and staff travelling to the Meeting from Zurich and within Davos-Klosters. To further raise awareness of and address environmental concerns during the Annual Meeting, this initiative underscores the Forum’s commitment to “improving the state of the world”.
You are dynamic, hard working, adaptable, flexible and willing to carry out any of the many important tasks required to help run this initiative. You are willing to contribute your knowledge, resourcefulness, professionalism and positive attitude throughout a very intense week-long extraordinary event. You are also motivated and able to work in a team and capable of dealing with unexpected situations, pressure and stress. You will experience the tremendous excitement and learning opportunity presented by this unique global event, which brings together the world’s top business and political leaders.
You speak fluent English and you have very good working knowledge of at least one other languages. German/Swiss German is an asset. You are available and can be in Davos-Klosters from Saturday 23 January to Monday 1 February 2010.
