The PHP Developer must have experience in developing robust applications in a hosted software (SaaS) model. They will be responsible for developing on a wide range of systems using a broad array of technologies. Projects will include: improving our existing code base, developing code appropriate for a highly available / reliable / scalable environment. Knowledge of Internet marketing software, email systems, web analytics, or other highly transactional, write-intensive systems is a big plus.
Bronto is rapidly growing and our current client list includes names like Duke University, Trek Bikes, Gander Mountain, and Etsy. We are seeking to increase the functionality of our applications as we continue to attract clients looking to apply higher degrees of measurement and metric-based analysis of their marketing campaigns. Requirements include:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in software development
- Expertise coding/working in PHP and MySQL (other languages a plus)
- You live and breathe acronyms like OOP, MVC, and AJAX
- Experience developing in a Linux/Unix environment. No Microsoft here
- Experience working with source code control such as Subversion, CVS, or Git
- Ability to write code that kicks butt and takes names
- Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
- A sense of humor helps too!
