ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
FTI Healthcare is a 150-member practice which focuses primarily on acute care providers in the U.S. market. This practice within FTI has grown at an average of 20% annually over the past four years, and is poised for continued growth at this pace.
FTI Healthcare is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle professional with Patient Access and/or Patient Financial Services expertise. The individual must have prior, hands-on responsibility for assessing, planning implementing and directing the transformation of key revenue cycle business processes. In addition to strong management skills, the candidate should possess a track record of successfully managing high performance, interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and achieving measurable performance outcomes.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Our Directors have overall responsibility for project management, client management, solution design and implementation as well as achievement of engagement results. They also work with client and project leaders to effectively use change management strategies and guide the client through transformation efforts.
- Build, cultivate, and manage client relationships while expanding the FTI Healthcare client portfolio.
- Facilitate business negotiations related to client engagement activities.
- Exhibit leadership skills which serve as a model for FTI personnel, and which serve to engage and motivate superior performance.
- Demonstrate project management and client management expertise.
- Lead the production of quality revenue cycle methodology and engagement deliverables.
- Manage client engagement risk and exhibit creative problem solving techniques to address client service delivery challenges.
- Provide strategic insights to aid in guiding project direction and outcomes.
- Lead client and FTI teams to influence team and engagement direction.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of revenue cycle information technologies and associated vendors.Lead, facilitate and personally contribute to data analysis focused activities to support measureable project outcomes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive revenue cycle experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience should encompass all aspects of the revenue cycle, including operational leadership responsibility, with a focus on Patient Access and “Front-End” areas/operations.
- High level of quantitative and qualitative research, analytical skills and critical thinking skills with expertise to drive process development to implementation.
- Strong project management and leadership experience, including a proven ability to adapt to unanticipated challenges.
- Prior consulting experience in a nationally recognized professional services firm.
- Hands on implementation experience in an acute care provider environment.
- Proficient knowledge of PC environment, including Microsoft applications such as Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL, etc.).
- Master’s degree, MHA or MBA.
- Revenue Cycle Certification: Certified Healthcare Financial Professional, Certified Healthcare Access Manager, Registered Health Information Administrator.
- Must be willing to travel weekly, typically out of town aminimum of four days/week (i.e., at least 80%).
