Paragon Studios is seeking a veteran superhero Character Artist to join our quest to create revolutionary online gaming experiences. Bring your strength to our cause, inspire awe in those around you, collaborate with like-minded team members and make great games! These individuals will be given vast responsibility and control and will have the ability to contribute strongly to the game itself.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional 3D artist experience
- Min. 2 shipped products (games, movies, television)
- Extensive experience with mesh/UV skills, with specific focus on characters/creatures
- Master Texture Painter
- Solid understanding of 3D Art production processes/pipelines
- Master level expertise in 3DstudioMax 7, Z-Brush, and Photoshop or Painter
- Mature, positive individual with ability to approach art development with objectivity
- Must be able to work within style established by Art Director
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic
- A passion for creating and playing video games
Preferred
- Familiarity with comic/superhero art conventions and proportions
- Avid MMO player, especially of City of Heroes
