NCsoft West, the U.S. branch of NCsoft, the world’s largest independent developer and publisher of online computer games is seeking a highly qualified NOC Administrator I to provide support and surveillance of all game and infrastructure servers including any ancillary systems. This position directly reports to the
Essential Functions
· 30% Project/Research work given by management.
· Interact with support staff to resolve issues.
· Monitor hardware/software via proactive monitoring software.
· Perform Daily/Weekly Checks on all assigned servers.
· Respond to any outage assigned to the
· Monitor and Respond to all e-mails.
· Maintain problem ownership and accountability.
· Publish game data as needed.
· Document procedures as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Associates Degree preferred, however equivalent work related experience will be considered.
· Proven experience and skill with Operating Systems: Windows and Linux. (Mid Level)
· Proven experience and skill with DNS.
· Proven experience and skill with network troubleshooting and configuration.
· Dynamic routing via BGP and OSPF.
· Proven experience and skill with AD.
· Proven experience and skill with Mail Servers.
· Proven experience and skill with server hardware and software troubleshooting.
· The ability to communicate professionally in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive working environment.
· Ability to be a team player and a self-starter.
· Ability to maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
· Adaptability
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent customer skills.
· Rack servers and patch cables as needed.
· Ability to perform analytical thinking
· Shift availability is required.
