Seattle, WA | Game Production Studio
Game Production Studio (GPS) is embedded in NCsoft West’s headquarters, located in downtown Seattle. We have a unique role: to bring games developed by NCsoft’s Seoul production studios and its partners in the East to NCsoft’s western territories. We provide support for second and third party projects, planning for launch and providing support in a live environment. We ensure seamless localization and stellar quality assurance and maintain the community efforts of our products. Currently, we support several of the industry’s largest MMO franchises, notably Lineage, Exteel™, and Aion.
Our goal is to bring a product into the western market that rivals any natively developed product in game quality and language and culture localization. We focus more on release management and liaison, rather than core software development.
We have a practical, cooperative, team-focused, casual environment in an open-plan office. Our elite group of producers, brand managers, localization experts, quality assurance specialists, community managers, and writers is a small, agile team of core leadership. Our studio employs approximately 30 full-time employees, with contractors that temporarily swell the ranks as needed. We don’t have rock stars or prima donnas—we work for a living. GPS is a great place for producers who are keen to work on a global level, and our team is responsible for the product management of the entire GPS portfolio.
