NCsoft West, the U.S. branch of NCsoft, the world’s largest independent developer and publisher of online computer games is seeking talented candidates for a Financial Analyst position in its North Austin office. This person will be responsible for supporting the management of Departmental Budget and Forecasting as well as U.S. and Global Financial Reporting Analysis. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self-managing, driven and has excellent communication and organization skills.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
· 2-4 years experience in Finance, with a strong Accounting background
· Strong knowledge of Great Plains and/or Oracle, as well as good Excel skills
· Familiarity of FRX or some other report writer
· Experience with Variance Analysis-Budget to Actual/month over month/year over year
· Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting (Operating Expense)
· Experience with GL accounting/JE’s-including accrual-calculation
· Must be able to correspond confidently with all levels of the organization
· Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize projects
· Has to be self-driven individual, who will take ownership of a project and see it from beginning to end
Preferred
· Someone who’s worked in a Staff Accountant capacity then moved to Financial Analysis
· Experience working in an international/global company
· Background includes working with a mid to large-sized organization as well as a small one
