ArenaNet is seeking a Cinematics Producer who will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the in game cinematics and marketing videos to a high creative standard. The role will oversee the entire lifecycle of the cinematics production process from concept to delivery. The Producer will collaborate with the Cinematics Lead to execute a vision and provide the link and liaise between the Cinematics team and the art, design, programming and production teams.
The ideal candidate can participate in the content creation process and is a highly organized individual with outstanding communication abilities and a demonstrated aptitude for project management.

Responsibilities:
Work with the Cinematic Lead to define the vision and breakdown the script for each cinematic and video
Work with the art, design, programming and production leads to develop the content and make informed creative decisions based on the approved concept and script.
Finalize the art assets required and track and manage all tasks and dependencies to ensure that everyone involved understands the priorities and deliverables
Work with team leads to determine resources necessary to see features through to completion.
Create and manage both daily and long term schedules for the Cinematics team
Facilitate the necessary approval process for in progress and completed content
Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving established goals.
Communicate frequently with the producer and team leads on project status, risks, and opportunities.
Contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
Ability to contribute creative ideas, make creative choices and execute the vision for cinematics within the game and marketing videos.
Ability to drive development of content with the various team leads from concept to delivery
Ability to communicate effectively with art, programming, design and production teams
Knowledge of game development process and project management.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
Passion for gaming
Pluses:
Experience in game development modeling, animation, technical art or motion graphics
Proven experience managing schedules and individuals to achieve desired results
BA/BS (or equivalent) in traditional art or computer graphics
