European Territory Brand Manager – Brighton, UK

Job Purpose and Scope

European Territory Brand Manager (TBM) is responsible for implementing and managing overall successful business strategy for one NCsoft game, in order to maintain successful growth of its IP in Europe. To do so, locally the TBM is closely working with the local and international NCsoft West team.

The TBM is also working closely to the Global Brand Directors (GBD) who are bound to the game studio and leads the global brand strategy.

The TBM is also responsible for providing report of any activities on their product range to the NCsoft West HQ.

 

Key Contribution Areas

 

·         Handle day-to-day implementation of plans in territories by briefing Sales, Territory Marketing teams and other partners on the global objectives and strategies. The Sales and Marketing teams will evaluate each individual country plan ensuring that each country's plan is strategically in alignment with global strategy provided by the GBD and refined by you and the European Marketing Director.

·         Work with regional partners, NCsoft Data analysis team to monitor, measure, and report key product performance metrics.

·         Travel to international territories to brief teams and partners on strategy and materials.

·         Coordinate distribution of international materials, which include marketing material such as packaging, advertising creative, POS materials, etc.

·         Liaison to Product Development and Production during all stages of product development to ensure the smooth flow of information, materials and communication required for a successful product launch.

·         Drive and organize the community strategy. Get it touch with the main actors of European community site and with your team provide them support.

·         Proficient at data and market analysis.

·         Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance.

·         Be a MMO player.

·         Perform special projects as assigned.

·         The TFC main goal should be to drive revenue, awareness and excitement

·      Computer proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and with database software.

·      Requires international travel. Must be willing to work additional long hours when the job requires.

·      Have a Passion for online entertainment

 

A successful performer in this role will:

·         Must have already participate to a launch a video game or an online service

·         Must understand Online game business and all facets of our activities

·         Must have broad experience and understanding the marketing discipline including market research, product positioning, pricing, promotions, sales and distribution.

·         Excellent organization and project management skills, outstanding written and oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and adhere to deadlines.

·         Should be a team player, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop strong relationships with internal and external parties.

·         Proactive, self-starter with ability to work independently. Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems and maintain grace under pressure.

·         Fluent English essential – additional European languages an advantage

·         Excellent communication skills with emphasis on diplomacy a must.

 

Experience

·         Educated to degree level or equivalent – preferably with a recognized Marketing and communication qualification

·         2-3 years experience working in games industry – preferably with online experience

·         Experience in an MMO publisher or online service company is desirable

·         Experience in releasing in Europe Korean video games / software is desirable.
