Requirements & Qualifications
Definitely a must have…
- 1 to 3 years marketing experience
- Marketing or communications bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- Understands how B2B marketing works to support sales revenue
- Previous role as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator
- Been there and done that – has a proven track record of success with demand generation programs or guerilla tactics
- MS PowerPoint wizard and Excel jockey
- Spots typos when reading the New York Times
- Loves tight budgets because it brings out your creativity
- Could be Pulitzer prize writer at heart
…and the following is a plus…
- You’ve actually executed flawless B2B marketing programs
- Have a resume full of Recruitment or internet advertising experience
- Know the ABCs of the Human Resource Recruitment Industry
- Comfortable putting on your design hat to resize logo files or produce awesome sales sheets
- Thrive on the pressure of giving a precise product demo on the spot while being Webcasted
Responsibilities
You would enjoy spending your time . . .
- Getting stuff done
- You use your superpowers to crank up the demand generation machine through webinars, email campaigns, etc.
- You are the Sales Team’s favorite person because you create specialty slicks and slide presentations that close deals
- Team-up with the rest of Marketing to bang out sales collateral (such as case studies, whitepapers and educational materials) that your competitors steal from your booth because it’s so good
- Probably could have been an event coordinator or wedding planner in another life because you enjoy travel logistics, the conference atmosphere, creative event themes, etc.
- Having fun with the crew
