Travelzoo is looking for an experienced .NET Developer with the ability to architect, design and build web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong development experience utilizing ASP.Net, VB.Net, C# and should be well versed in the fundamentals of the Microsoft .Net environment. The position is full-time and based in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions for Travelzoo and Fly.com
- Maintain and support internal applications
- Build and implement new web applications
- Add creative input to existing projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have 6+ years experience with .NET on medium to large scale successfully deployed projects
- Relevant high performance programming experience in HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.Net, AJAX, JavaScript, Visual Basic and C#.
- Experience with the creation as well as consumption of Web Services
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and Team Foundation Server
- Experience with MS SQL 2005
- Significant experience in all of these technologies --
Microsoft Stack, WCF, MSMQ, HTTP, Windows Services, In-memory caching, Data Layer, Linq, ADO, Lambdas,Transport, Web Services, and Sockets
- KNOWLEDGE OF OUTSYSTEMS PLATFORM IS A PLUS
- Must have strong work ethic and be able to work both in team and solo environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering
