Fly.com™, a new travel search engine from Travelzoo, has an immediate opening for a paid internship. The position is based out of the company’s New York office, and will provide the intern with hands-on experience in Web site production and product development. The intern will also gain experience in marketing and business analysis.
The position requires a commitment of 20-40 hours per week for at least 3 months. Applications must include a cover letter.
Responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and developing airfare deals
- Ensuring that the product offers the highest quality user experience and content through QA testing
- Assisting with marketing and business analysis
- Conducting competitive, industry and user research and analysis
Requirements:
- Experience in a corporate setting
- Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative)
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment
- High degree of familiarity with online travel booking tools and services
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Passion for traveling desired (study abroad, personal travel, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet research skills
- Recent college grad or enrolled as a senior in college
