Description
Summary:
 
The Global Business Analyst for Metrics & Analytics has the strategic responsibility for developing and maintaining global process designs, including configuration and technical objects, which are consistent with ITT’s corporate policies.
 
A)          List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance.
 
 
  1. Work with the Global Business Process Owners and subject matter experts to develop and maintain global process designs in support of company policies.
 
  1. Responsible for solutioning, configuring, and then maintaining the technical design for Metrics & Analytics across SAP modules and global template through multiple deployments, and post deployment.
 
  1. Responsible for prioritizing ongoing requests made for changes and enhancements and assessing their impact on the global design and on system stability. Prepares specification and rollout of new functionality with the GPO, GPE for future changes.
 
  1. Provides test scripts based on end to end business scenarios, responsible for UAT testing, and Regression testing
 
  1. Support SAP Business / Value Center Deployment Projects by
 
    • Introduction of project team to the design of global metrics and reporting requirements leveraging SAP’s BO/BI
    • Participate in the blueprinting and realization phases of the project by gathering blueprint requirements and development of queries
    • Audit the project team’s process designs to ensure consistency with global standards
    • Provides business unit level support to the GPA, SMEs post deployment within the Metrics & Analytics area
    • Facilitate the resolution of conflicts with the global process design
    • Execute the implementation of changes to global process designs
 
 
A)     Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience).
 
1.      Team Leadership Experience
 
2.      Experience designing and implementing SAP modules (ECC 6.0) across multiple businesses / value centers and regions
 
3.      Experience implementing SAP BO/BI in defense implementations, including working knowledge of ITAR and defense requirements and constraints (helpful but not required)
 
4.      10 years of SAP BO/BI implementation experience, including:
o       U.S. and International experience a strong plus
o       Corporate and Value Center experience
o       Experience with or knowledge Sales, Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing and SCM
o       Conducted unit testing, regression testing and integration testing
o       Experience in providing end user training.
o       Team Leadership
o       Business Process Modeling
 
5.      B.S. Finance & Accounting, Business, Marketing, Engineering or Information Systems
 
 
B)     Describe the most important competencies required of the individual.
 
1.      Team leadership skills required to manage the team that is developing, implementing and maintaining the global process designs
 
2.      Defining the requirements to support ITT Business Intelligence and Key Business Indicators required to Design and Implement global metrics and analytical standards.
                                                  
3.      Able to see and understand the interconnections of multiple SAP modules and their impact on the overall system design and implementation
 
4.      Able to work at both a strategic and tactical level when needed to support the global design and local implementations of SAP
 
5.      SAP Business Process and Configuration Experience
 
6.      Business Process Modeling using ARIS
