Position Summary


The Contributor, Marketing Intelligence interprets data and provides basic data insight summaries. The Analyst has an in-depth understanding of which appropriate data and tools to derive data discrepancies and happenings, including Q/A of media tags.
The successful candidate will have the ability to uncover current reporting inefficiencies and improve upon them. The analyst should possess a fundamental understanding and capability of reporting tools and have the ability to review and provide basic analysis of results.

Responsibilities


  • Ability to learn tasks and conceptually digest the deliverables, beyond simple execution.
  • Ability to refresh reports as well as create simple report templates base on knowledge and some guidance from the Marketing Intelligence project lead.  Collaboration with EMs/other tools. Follows up with EMs/other disciplines.
  • Ability to create tracking requirements.
  • Proactive in growing knowledge within tool set. Actively reviewing other ways to view data for potential improvements on report templates for deeper insights.
  • Ability to represent Marketing Intelligence across other Organic disciplines.
  • Effectively uses tools/capabilities to communicate basic analytic strategy and Marketing Intelligence capabilities.
  • Follows up and works with Marketing Intelligence team to discuss further opportunities to address analytics projects
  • May oversee or support associate contributors on day to day tasks, including reporting and ad operation tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate on priorities and support multiple projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with other contributors and senior contributors within Marketing Intelligence and across other disciplines.
  • Develop effective discussions. Coordinates with the Marketing Intelligence project lead and communicates on timing and challenges that may require reprioritization.

Education/Work Experience



  • 2+ yrs overall experience preferred including:


    • 2+ yrs industry experience: Management Consulting, Research Analyst, or client-side strategy consulting experience preferred.
    • Experience in creating client presentations (MS PowerPoint), developing industry documents/overviews (MS Word), gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and performing basic analysis (MS Excel).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
