CONSUMER INSIGHT MANAGER
MARKETING DEPARTMENT
CENTRAL OFFICE: STANDTON
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacancy within the Marketing department. The successful applicant is expected to start Nov / Dec
KEY PURPOSE
To facilitate knowledge based decision making through the translation of research based information into high quality consumer insights
KEY OUTPUTS
Management of ad-hoc market research process (from briefing to report back) Quality control of research agencies
Selection of appropriate methodologies and analysis tools
Design and development of questionnaires/discussion flows
Management and identification of variance to project objectives
Translation of research information into consumer insight
Interrogation of SAB databases and external publications
Compilation of brand scorecards and brand health presentations so as to identify key insights
Provide interpretation of research findings which are action-orientated, relevant and insightful (via presentations and executive summaries)
Actively influence brand strategy through the effective integration of consumer insight
Developing and maintaining customer relationships which are both constructive and geared towards empowerment through knowledge
Continuously promote knowledge based decision making
Input provided at key planning and strategic forums

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Degree in Business Science / Marketing or equivalent Minimum of 3 years experience in consumer marketing research (preferably including some supplier experience)
Experience in design, management and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative consumer market research methods
Good basic understanding of marketing
Ability to work with computerised databases
Statistical and numerical proficiency as well as computer literacy, good interpersonal and administrative skills are essential
