Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and modification of NC programming to produce parts efficiently and in a cost effective manner.
  2. Generate and modify NC programs to support detail part production and tool fabrication.
  3. Work with Manufacturing and Tool Engineering to validate parts for Production run.
  4. Support the resolution of technical problems with machine operators and quality assurance.
  5. Support document management procedures and configuration control of NC program files.
  6. Work with sourced suppliers to resolve NC programming issues as required.
  7. Provide technical assistance to NC manufacturing personnel as required.
  8. Support conceptual design activities to support fabrication of tooling and assemblies.
  9. Follow company system level procedures as required.

Minimum Requirements (education and experience):

  1. Minimum of seven to ten years of aerospace NC programming-related duties in either composites or metals manufaturing (expereince in both is preferred).
  2. Minimum of two years of experience managing technical staff including direct responsibility for performance reviews, hiring, and daily assignments is preferred.
  3. Two-year Associates Degree in related field or minimum of three additional years of NC programming-related duties in either composites or metals.
  4. Intermediate to advanced expereince utilizing Master Cam ,Version X3, X4 would be a plus and Vericut.
  5. Intermediate experience with Catia v5.
  6. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  7. Ability to support multiple tasks while ensuring timely completion.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

  1. System level maintenance expereince of Master Cam.
  2. Manufacturing Engineering or Part/Tool Design experience in aerospace industry.
  3. CAD experience in translating data between systems.
