Provide Electrical and Systems Engineering expertise to support the design, development, integration, test, and production of various Department of Defense (DoD) Ground Combat Vehicles. Specific areas include Vehicle Electronics (Vetronics), C4ISR, Power Generation, Power Management, and Data Management.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead Engineering projects for various DoD Program Managers (PMs), and provide regular status briefs to management.
Provide C4ISR systems architecture (SA) technical reviews.
Develop and review Engineering and Contractual Scopes of Work (SOWs) for prime contractor.
Review technical documents (ICDs, Mechanical drawings, requirements, and performance specifications).
Travel as required.
Required Skills:
Interact daily with customer and other DoD Organizations.
Experience with C4ISR and Vetronics on DoD ground combat vehicle.
Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering on DoD ground combat vehicles.
DoD Program Management experience, including coordination with other PM organizations-- Logistics, Business Management, and Acquisition.
Excellent Systems Engineering skills, as well as an understanding of the Army Acquisition process.
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication skills and ability to work without direct supervision.
