Provide systems engineering support in the development of an application of interoperability profile for US Army ground robotic vehicles.
Essential Job Functions:
Research ground robotic vehicle missions and use cases in current and future Army/DoD applications.
Analyze ground robotic vehicle technologies, subsystems, and interfaces used in above missions and use cases.
Support the development of an interoperability profile between systems and subsystems of ground robotic vehicles.
Develop groupings of ground robotic vehicle types within which interoperation standards can be applied.
Define hardware, software, and signal interfaces between subsystems (with performance standards).
Define methods of verifying compliance to interface definitions.
Prototype software and/or simulations to demonstrate a subset of ground robotic vehicle interoperability profile.
Enhance and maintain ground robotic vehicle interoperability profile and support application.
Required Skills:
Experience with software development (C/C++).
Experience with robotic systems development, or testing, or Joint Architecture for Unmanned Systems (JAUS).
Experience with technical writing.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing (formal and informal).
Desired Skills:
Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
Experience with control systems. |
