Customer service is a clear differentiator for organizations worldwide as the downturn in the economy has led organizations to focus on retaining their existing customers. The customer has never been more important and to that end, organizations are focused on initiatives that help increase customer loyalty and reduce customer effort. Parature has achieved explosive worldwide growth as organizations invest in customer service software. 

In response to our double-digit year-over-year growth, we are currently seeking smart, energetic, growth oriented account executives for our Northern Virginia and San Francisco offices. Account executives will be tasked with managing high volume / consultative sales metrics and delivering on our top-line growth objectives. 

The account executives will report to a sales director.  

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding evolving business issues and effectively articulating Parature’s value proposition
  • Working in conjunction with a sales associate (SA) - prospecting and building new business in a regional or vertical territory through professional networking and cold-call techniques
  • Leading senior executives through a consultative sales approach
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
    • Avg sale is ~$30k
    • Avg sales cycle is ~4 months


Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years transactional sales experience with success closing new business
  • The ability to close business over the phone
  • Proven track record of high sales achievement – President’s Club awards, top achievement awards, etc.
  • Successful experience in sales environments with an emphasis on high volume transactional sales
  • Solid understanding of business concepts for large national and international corporations
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills
  • Ability to build credibility with an executive level audience
  • Superior time management and organization skills
  • Bachelor's Degree

Successful candidates may possess:

  • Advanced business degree
  • SaaS and / or software experience
