The core responsibility of the Sr. Product Manager will be to lead, manage and develop Vibrant’s core targeting engine across multiple product lines. The Sr. Product Manager will be aware of online advertising competitors and market trends, an expert on keyword and contextual/ behavioral targeting techniques, and its direct effect on revenue. This position will report directly to the SVP of Technology.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop long-term vision of the Targeting and Intelligence Engine and ensure all relevant Product Development work leads towards this objective
• Research market trends to produce innovative engine strategies to modify and expand upon existing targeting models
• Ensure that products are technically compatible with changing industry standards
• Collect, organize and analyze data from user studies to further engine development, produce enhancements and drive sound business decisions
• Track and evaluate effectiveness, revenue contribution towards goal, and commercial profitability based on targeting models.
• Create detailed engine roadmaps and product requirement documents
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Sales and Operations processes in order to develop the right targeting model for the business
• Accompany Sales and Business Development teams during meetings with advertising clients and partners, where necessary
• Identify and communicate business requirements to the Technology teams by providing a translation from commercial to technical requirements.
• Liaise with European division to identify potential revenue opportunities
• Provide training and troubleshooting support for Targeting and Intelligence Engine end-users
•Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Operations, and Technology to ensure effective communication regarding product development efforts and product execution.
Requirements:
• 5+ Years Product Management experience ideally in a technical environment
• Demonstrated ability to manipulate and decode complex datasets related to targeting model trends
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Well versed in current ad targeting methods including keyword, contextual and behavioral models and their impacts on revenue models
• Well versed in the full range of available Rich Media ad-formats, tags and technologies.
• Experience with contextual and behavioral display advertising, in-text Internet advertising products and ad serving technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Internet advertising, including current and emerging trends in the US and European markets
• Experience converting business ideas and research into actionable product releases with an emphasis on revenue and performance
• Experience bringing various stakeholders together to plan, build, and launch products
• Strong organizational, analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
