| Excellent project mgmt and communication skills. Able to converse comfortably with a wide range of project stakeholders and regulatory agencies. Exp with local and regional contaminated land planning rules. Preparing technical reports for resource consent application. Designing contaminated site sampling plans to Ministry for the Environment guideline requirements. Developing compliance monitoring plans based on discharge consent conditions. Undertaking and preparing assessment of environmental effects. Undertaking remediation feasibility investigations. Writing clear and concise reports. Writing project proposals and develop cost estimates.
Requirements:
Degree in Science or Environmental Engineering & at least 7 yrs exp.
Desirable Skills:
The position would ideally suit a person with a scientific or environmental engineering background in the fields of contaminant hydrogeology, soil sciences, water quality science or waste engineering. The successful candidate would ideally have over 7 years of consulting experience in the areas of contaminated site assessment & remediation, associated hydrogeological assessments or related environmental management. |
