| Purpose: This position plays a critical role in supporting the rollout of an Integrated Financial Planning project for Client?s Information Technology (IT) Organization. The objective of this project is to deploy improved financial planning processes and the technology to support the same in an integrated fashion. This project requires a candidate with exceptional analytical skills; who is methodical, detail oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities and tasks while consistently meeting deadlines. This individual should have the capability to learn quickly, have strong organizational skills, excellent listening skills, works professionally and respectfully with the client community as a business-technology liaison, and at the same time collaborates as part of a core project team. This position is a client-facing position, involving collaboration with multiple stakeholders at various levels and in multiple organizations. The candidate will need to develop a deep understanding of the business demands and have the ability to document complex business processes while tracking/managing numerous business needs. This role will translate business needs into functional requirements and prepare the appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. The candidate will conduct, and/or participate in, the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements, and in the preparation of test scripts for user acceptance testing. Overall, this role is vital to ensuring the technical solution supports the business needs of the IT organization. Qualifications - Significant experience in information systems development or implementation with progressively more complex responsibilities and accountabilities in a client facing role. - Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions - Comprehensive understanding and experience in process flow mapping using an industry acceptable modeling language(s). - Strong skills in requirements elicitation, definition, and traceablity, translating requirements into clearly documented logical design, developing the test strategy, and test scripting/execution. - Ability to learn and deliver in standard project delivery methodology and tool sets. - Experience working in business process re-engineering projects with a demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools required. Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting process - Knowledge of health care industry is a plus - Experience in using tools for requirements capturing (e.g. caliber ) Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in business analysis work in a large-scale environment is required. Work in consulting a plus. Education: Bachelors and/or MBA/MS degree or equivalent year for year experience in the areas of Business Administration, Financial Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
