For a well known Telecom company in San Diego, we are looking for 6 contractors for below position. The project will start in beginning of September:

Symbian / S60 UI integrator:

Key responsibilities:

• Analysis of software feature deliverables from internal and external suppliers
• High level SW integration and configuration
• Troubleshooting of system wide software errors. Tracing, debugging, handling of errors according to the Nokia error mgmt process.

Qualifications

• Degree in telecommunications, computer science, software technology or equivalent and depth and breadth experience in software engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of C/C++, Symbian OS/S60, SCM tools and SW build and release creation is required.
• At least five years of Software Engineering experience on handset mobile domain with a focus on SW development and integration
• At least 2 years of S60 related experience
• Familiar with Nokia build environment, flash and trace tools
• Several years experience in the product software development or integration for mobile phones projects with complex software delivery chains.
• Energetic, persistent and excellent communication skills. Solid spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Excellent networking skills, flexibility, interpersonal and team playing skills in connection with problem solving skills are required
