ERM seeks a Director, Compliance Assurance Services with expertise in environmental consulting business development as well as technical oversight of environmental consulting projects at our Atlanta, GA office.

Responsibilities:
· Lead and build a strong compliance assurance services team in the Southeast US. Services include corporate, business unit and facility support of sustainable EHS compliance. Activities include auditing, information management systems, health and safety, security, process safety, social/supply chain services, permitting and compliance support. Serve as a key member of the “Core” Leadership team to drive double-digit profitable growth of ERM’s compliance assurance services business across North America.
· Fully accountable to Company for successfully selling to and consulting with clients regarding compliance assurance projects for ERM’s industrial clients.
· Lead the business growth efforts for a team of compliance assurance professionals to build a sustained growing business across the Southeast and across OpCo’s with a consolidated annual growth rate of 15 to 20 percent.
· As team leader, personally win at least $1 million in new compliance consulting services.
· Senior “Seller-Doer” for compliance projects in the southeastern U.S.
· Work closely and develop strong client relationships to understand and develop sustainable strategies to address client governance and compliance needs.
· Assist in building cross-company CA program particularly with the Southwest and Latin America
Requirements:
· BS in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or similar field.
· MS in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or similar field highly preferred.
· Specialized courses or experience in EHS business management desirable
· PE, CSP, BEAC or similar registration highly desirable
· Must possess solid experience assisting substantial clients to develop strategic sustainable compliance programs.
· Typical experience should include:
· Ideal candidate has a consulting background with EHS operations experience at the facility and corporate level
· Ideal candidate has 15 years experience
· Demonstrated leadership ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams
· Development and implementation of business growth strategies.
· High degree of technical competence and broad knowledge of federal and state EHS regulations.
· Strong presentation skills for client meetings and other events
· Strategic thinking
