There’s more than one reason the word “Flash” is in this job title.
Because Flash is more than a multimedia platform at Ignited. It’s also a measurement of the speed things happen around here. Imagine yourself on the pit crew of a NASCAR star during the big race. Yeah, that’s like a typical Monday around here.
Day to day, you’d be:
• Developing back-end Flash functionality and ActionScript implementation of front-end functionality
• Working closely with developers and integrators to complete projects • Coordinating with producers to fulfill their requirements, providing API and technical support as needed
• Attending status and project meetings • Taking part in internal initiatives and developments • Advancing the interactive tech department with innovative ideas • Delivering projects on time and on-budget
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members
Other checklist-type thingees we need you to have on your resume:
• Minimum of three years' experience designing, developing and producing Flash content and applications
• A four-year college degree or equivalent
• Comprehensive Flash experience
• Extensive Flash ActionScript 2.0 & 3.0 experience (Java & PHP a plus) • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming practices and methodologies • Experience with data-driven Flash development • Strong knowledge of Web technologies, such as XML, SOAP and Web services • Impressive portfolio including numerous examples of advanced Flash skills • Experience with major product or site release cycles • Strong written and verbal communication skills
