Working at RFF

Resources for the Future seeks to provide a pleasant and supportive work environment for all employees, and offers a competitive range of benefits. We encourage close collaboration and open communication among all staff members, and actively mentor employees to nurture their best performance.

RFF is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to promoting a diverse workplace. It is our policy to recruit, hire, and provide opportunities for advancement in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, citizenship, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or disability. RFF enforces a strict non-smoking and drug-free workplace policy. We offer a competitive benefits package, which includes health and dental plans, retirement, partial tuition reimbursement, and accumulated medical and annual leave.

Open positions are posted regularly on the RFF website and advertised online and in appropriate outlets. Standing staff recruiting committees oversee hiring of management and senior research positions. Because of recruiting volume, we regret that we will only accept applications for positions that are currently open and only those applicants that are selected for further discussions will be contacted.

RFF also offers a variety of endowed Fellowships, summer internships, research stipends, and post-doctoral positions. For more information on these, interested parties may see Fellowships and Internships.
